8-Week Mindfulness Based Living/Salt Therapy Course at Edinburgh Salt Rooms – Starts Wednesday 30th October 2024
This course will be facilitated by Gary Young from The Mindful Enterprise, who is an accredited teacher through The Mindfulness Association.
This Mindfulness Based Living Course (MBLC) is based on the work of international mindfulness teacher Rob Nairn and includes all the principles of Jon Kabat-Zinn’s Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) programme with the addition of compassion.
The aim of the course is to help participants develop a mindfulness practice that can be applied in both personal and professional life.
The course will include a mix of theory and experiential practice.
This 8 week course will be combined with Salt Therapy which can help with respiratory & skin conditions, it also gives relief to hay fever and other allergens plus colds, flu, coughs and long covid. You do not need to have one of these conditions to join this course, Salt Therapy can also be very relaxing and help with tension and everyday aches and pains.

Location - Edinburgh Salt Rooms, 33-35 Marionville Rd, Edinburgh EH7 5UD.
Format - One 2hr class per week for 8 weeks. Sessions start at 7.15pm and end at 9.15pm each Wednesday evening.

- 18th December 2024 – Week 8 – A Mindfulness Based Life
- 30th November 2024 (9am – 1pm) - Day Retreat (optional)
